Analytics & privacy

Cityliner uses Plausible analytics to understand how visitors use the explorer. It uses no analytics cookies.

We measure page opens, successful map loads, deliberate exploration, artwork generation, successful view-link copies, visits to Roman’s portfolio, and load failures. These measurements cannot tell us whether you saved a file or sent a copied link to someone.

The measurements include campaign labels, the city and published dataset, the selected display style, and a mobile or desktop category. Your selected time, date, transport filters, route details, and arbitrary URL parameters are excluded. Referrer links are reduced to the originating website.

As with other web requests, the analytics server receives request information including an IP address and browser user agent. Plausible uses request information to produce aggregate statistics about traffic, approximate visitor locations, browsers, and devices. We do not add a visitor identifier to your browser.

The explorer works when analytics is blocked. You can also open it without analytics for this visit.
